OPEN AN ACCOUNT

Open an Account

If you don’t have an existing account, then you will need to fill out new account paperwork to set up the account. This document also contains the membership application.

Your membership status will depend on whether you are involved in agricultural production. If you are, then you will be classified as a voting member, and receive patronage based on the business done with Kanza. You will be eligible to vote on business matters (such as board of director candidates) for the cooperative at the annual meeting in April.

If you are not an ag producer, you will be a non-voting member. You can’t vote but you can do business with Kanza and earn patronage, which can be a combination of cash and/or equity in the cooperative.

BECOME A MEMBER

If you already have an account established with Kanza Cooperative, then all you need to do to become a member is to fill out the membership application with payment of $25.
